No. Swings, bouncers, and car seats are designed for transportation or supervised use, not routine sleep. If your baby falls asleep in one of these devices, move them to a safe sleep space as soon as possible.

No. Healthy babies naturally protect their airways. Sleeping on the back is the safest sleep position and significantly reduces the risk of sleep-related infant deaths.

Once your baby can roll from back to stomach and stomach to back on their own, you do not need to reposition them. Continue placing them on their back at the start of every sleep.

Yes. Anyone caring for your baby should follow the same safe sleep recommendations. Sharing current guidelines with all caregivers helps keep babies safe wherever they sleep.
